Sportswear Distribution · Norway
Celigo × NetSuite · Shopify (10 storefronts) · SuiteScript · SuiteFlow
Client Snapshot
A multi-channel sportswear distributor selling through 10 separate Shopify storefronts — 3 B2B, 4 B2C, and 3 Team stores — with order, fulfillment, and inventory data reconciled manually against NetSuite.
The Problem
Customers submitted return requests by email and phone. A custom NetSuite workflow had degraded to the point of slowing record loads for every user. Customs paperwork for international shipments was prepared by hand.
The Solution
Architected and implemented a multi-store Celigo integration connecting all 10 Shopify storefronts to NetSuite, covering order sync, fulfillment, and inventory across every channel. Built a self-service Return Request Portal that validates order eligibility, captures item-level return detail, and generates a Return Authorization automatically.
Technical Approach
Diagnosed and resolved the workflow performance issue through context filtering, removal of redundant workflow actions, and more efficient search execution. Developed a SuiteScript automation that auto-selects the correct proforma/customs text by ship-to country (REX agreement countries, Japan, general export) and pushes it into the client's delivery management system on Item Fulfillments.
Business Impact
All 10 storefronts now run through one governed integration instead of manual reconciliation. Return requests are self-service rather than email- and phone-based. Record load times returned to normal for all users. Customs documentation is generated automatically.
Why It Mattered
A single integration replaced ten disconnected reconciliation processes — turning a fragile, manual system into one the client's team could trust and scale with.
